We had the honour of being part of the MyConnectivity G.I.E., Future Workshop. We joined the discussion on the need of innovative communication infrastructure, with focus on rural remote areas, often still suffering the digital divide.

Based on the lessons learnt from national and international projects FNR LORSAT, SMC Lux5GCloud, and HE COMMECT, we showcased with demos and posters different connectivity solutions, leveraging on IoT, 5G, and NTN, and several applications for Smart Agriculture, enabled with AI algorithms.

We had the possibility as well to discuss with an engaged audiance the challenges faced to drive adoption of the technologies by the farmers, and rural communities. Education and training are essential for supporting them in the digital transition.
